Mandeali (Takri: 𑚢𑚘𑚶𑚖𑚮𑚣𑚭𑚥𑚯) is a language of northern India. Most speakers are in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. The people of the Mandi Valley and particularly in the major city of Mandi speak the language. Other spellings for the name are Mandiyali and Mandiali. UNESCO says it is a highly endangered language.[1] Speakers of the dialect have decreased by 21% from 1961 to 2001. In 2011, there were between 600,000 and 650,000 speakers.
