Rallapalli Venkata Narasimha Rao (15 August 1945 – 17 May 2019), known simply as Rallapalli, was an Indian character actor. He acted in Telugu and Tamil cinema.[1][2] He appeared in over 800 movies and was noted for his comedy roles. He is best known for his roles in movies such as Anveshana (1985), Bombay (1995) and Minsara Kanavu (1997). He was born in Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh.

Rallapalli died of a lung disease on 17 May 2019 in Hyderabad. He was 73.[3]
