Ryan Rodney Reynolds (born 23 October 1976) is a Canadian movie, television, stage, and voice actor who is known for his roles as Wade Wilson/Deadpool in Deadpool and Deadpool 2 and as Michael Bryce in The Hitman's Bodyguard. He is also known for his roles in National Lampoon's Van Wilder, Just Friends, Definitely, Maybe, The Proposal, The Change-Up, and Safe House.

Reynolds will star as Detective Pikachu in the 2019 movie Pokémon: Detective Pikachu.

Reynolds was born in Vancouver, British Columbia.[1] He studied at Kitsilano Secondary School and at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Reynolds was married to Scarlett Johansson from 2008 to 2011. He married Blake Lively in 2012 and shares two daughters with her.[2]

Reynolds received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2016.[3]
