Seth Meyers

Seth Adam Meyers (born December 28, 1973) is an American actor, voice actor, screenwriter, producer, television host and comedian. He is best known for hosting NBC's Saturday Night Live news parody segment Weekend Update and the NBC talk show Late Night with Seth Meyers.[1] The latter program premiered on February 24, 2014.[2]

Meyers was born in Evanston, Illinois to Hillary and Lawrence Meyers.[1] in 1996 he graduated from Northwestern University.[1] After college he and his brother Josh moved to Amsterdam.[3] They joined a comedy improv group called Boom Chicago.[3] In 2001 he auditioned for producer Lorne Michaels of Saturday Night Live and joined the cast that same year.[1]
