Super Star Wars is an run and gun video game. It was published by Nintendo and was The game was developed by Sculptured Software and LucasArts. Code Mystics did developing and Disney Interactive Studios did publishing for the later PlayStation 4 and Vita releases.[1]
The game was released on November 1, 1992 in North America and April 2, 1993 in Europe for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It would later be released as a port on November 17, 2015 in North America and November 24, 2015 in Europe for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.[2]
In the game, the plays controls Luke Skywalker and can later play as either Han Solo or Chewbacca. They play as Skywalker and mainly play through the events of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
There were two sequels that were released with Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in 1993 and Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in 1994.

The game recieved very positive reviews by game critics. Critics said that they liked the action, graphics, sound, and challenge.[3][4][5]
