Unsure about what this part is saying

@XKiller59 Could you please explain, or write out in a different way what this part of the article means? It is a bit unclear, and I wanted to help fix up the sentences!

"In the beginning the Germans did not plan to attack the Russians. The battle started when a German General disobeyed. which using the same strategy in Tannenberg, destroyed the Russian Army, and pushed the Russians out of Prussia, and ended the Russian threat into Prussia."

I understand I wasnt clear enough, it´s that in my book it states that a general of Corp had disobeyed the orders in Tannenberg and attacked the Russians, while the hugh command dindt want him to due that, and in september he saw an oportunity and once again attacked the Russians, I tried to search it in the normal wiki but I didnt see the name of François the general, I think it´s because when the general began the attack Hindenburg (the German general) dint move any more troops until a day or two later. The other thing is that the Russians even after they were defeated in Tannenberg, they still had one more army in the Masuarian Lakes, so when Paul retreated he was the last Russian army to attack Prussia.

What Carrie means is the sentence does not make sense. You might try using shorter sentences, such as "The German general disobeyed his orders". With such a long sentence you overlooked that it had no object. Macdonald-ross (talk) 10:50, 1 October 2014 (UTC)

I know understand, it´s that if thought you were not understanding the full complete meaning but you are right, as i already said in my description you´re allowed to change if you feel it needs to be changed, you have 9 months I have 2 days in this wiki. --XKiller59 (talk) 02:42, 2 October 2014 (UTC)
