The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is a 2014 epic fantasy adventure movie. It is about the dwarves and Bilbo having accidentally released the dragon Smaug. Bard the Bowman breaks out of prison and fights Smaug. Lee Pace plays Thranduil. Orlando Bloom plays Legolas. Evangeline Lilly plays Tauriel. Christopher Lee plays Saruman. Hugo Weaving plays Elrond. Cate Blanchett plays Galadriel.
It it's the last and final installment of The Hobbit movie series directed by Peter Jackson.
The movie took in over $962.2 million overall. It got mostly positive reviews from critics.
