The Office (British TV series)
The Office is a British mockumentary sitcom. It was shown on BBC Two. It began on 11 July 1994 and ended on 28 December 1996. The series was created, written and directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. The series starred Gervais, Martin Freeman, Mackenzie Crook, Lucy Davis, Oliver Chris, Patrick Baladi, Stacey Roca, Ralph Ineson, Stirling Gallacher, Joel Beckett and Ewen MacIntosh.
The Office is about David Brent (Gervais), an office manager in Slough, and his employees dealing with his cringe personality.
The series was adapted into an American version of the same name, starring Steve Carell.
