Jangmu Enn Sherpa (or Jangmu Sherpa; Nepali: जङ्मु एन शेर्पा) is a Nepali model, presenter, social activist, and winner of Miss Mangol 2018. She came into the limelight after she got married to Chief Minister of Koshi Province Sher Dhan Rai. She got married to Sherdhan Rai on Magh 11, 2077 (2021 Jan 24).
Early life and childhood[change | change source]
Jangmu Enn Sherpa was born in Makalu Sankhuwasabha, which is a very remote place in eastern Nepal. But she grew up in Kathmandu city. She did her early schooling at Trinity and Alpine Valley School. Later she finished her higher-level education from Himalayan International Higher Secondary Schoo. She was a brilliant and distinction holder student. As she spent her whole life in Kathmandu, her tone is completely different from the typical Sherpa community. She was very inspired by her mom from an early age.
Social work[change | change source]
She is the founding president of “Miss Mangol Scholarship Fund“. She along with her co-founders and first runner-up Preeti Gurung, Second Runner-up Punam Sherpa jointly started this nonprofit organization. This organization mainly helps those students who are financially weak.
She has been traveling across the world to raise campaign and money for MMSF. The organization is moving forward with the motive of “Education is the mother of all professions” and helping needy ones with their educatio

She got married to the chief minister of Province 1, Sher Dhan Rai. She came into the limelight. There was lots of criticism about the age difference between her husband. She is just 23 and Sher Dhan Rai is 48.
