Warning[change source]

Warning Please stop reverting my edits to the Big Bang article. A sysop on Simple English Wikipedia, Blockinblox, has given his reasons for why is should be as per my edit on the talk page and I suggest that you accept his reasons. If you keep reverting my changes, the article may be protected by a sysop, which will stop it being edited. Billz (Talk) 20:49, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for trying things out on Wikipedia, as you did to French Revolution. Your test worked, and has now been removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do, since testing material in articles will normally be removed quickly. Please see the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing here. Thanks. Blockinblox 01:21, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[change source]

Welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires you to provide no personal information, and gives you many benefits, including:

  • The use of a username of your choice
  • The ability to view all your contributions via a "my changes" link
  • Your own user page
  • Your own talk page which, if you choose, also allows users to send you messages without knowing your e-mail address
  • The use of your own personal list of watched pages ("my watched pages") to which you can add articles that interest you
  • The ability to move/rename pages
  • The ability to customize the appearance and behaviour of the website
  • The eligibility to become an Administrator or Sysop (can delete and undelete pages, protect them from being edited, edit protected pages, and block users for violation of our policies)
  • The right to be heard in formal votes and elections, and on pages like requests for deletion

Your views on Billz candidacy[change source]

Hello, of course anyone is free to suppoort or oppose a candidate for adminship; however, it would be good to get an account if you do so. Personally, I have not been involved in the big bang debate, except when pointing out that possibly other scientific theories may exist. I therefore changed the 'the' to an 'a' (before scientific theory, ofc). In short, create an account, and your opinion will have much more weight. -- Eptalon 21:59, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is no reason to oppose my application anyway to be honest. All I have done is save work for another contributor who was going to revert your edit anyway. Many users have expressed why it should be 'a' rather than 'the', so I am just helping them and I should not lose out on becoming an administrator. I have been a scapegoat in this situation and I have saved work for other editors who would have reverted it anyway. Don't shoot the messenger! Billz (Talk) 22:04, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Warning[change source]

OK, I'm on you side with the Big Bang, but your comments to User:Blockinblox qualify as a personal attack. If you make any comments or reverts from now on, I will block you for 24 hours. I'm giving the same message to User:Billz. There's no point arguing over two letters. Archer7 - talk 19:23, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
