Re vandalism[change source]

Hallo, I am trying to fix sustained vandalism on the article Dhund Abbasi by some person or people and I note that you have added some of the removed material again? Please, this is spurious and fake information and has no reliable sourcing, at all; and I have already left details of the real issue on the article's Talk Page. Would be grateful for help/guidance, as they keep adding the removed material and I cant revert time and again and dont want to be involved in an edit conflict/war, thanks, Hamneto (talk) 04:06, 5 January 2013 (UTC)Hamneto[reply]

A barnstar for you![change source]

The Template Barnstar
You are a super duper template worker! 67.187.21.48 (talk) 11:47, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How about this as a third-party source? http://www.nyslittree.org/index.cfm/fuseaction/DB.PersonDetail/PersonPK/772.cfm . It seems independent and is an "org" site - but I don't know any-thing about it. Likewise: http://www.writer.org/page.aspx?pid=894 . It is also mentioned at the Amazon.com site for her books etc. Kdammers (talk) 13:34, 15 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Re Thanas of East Pakistan[change source]

Hallo! Re the above query. The fact is, Bangladesh's administrative system has changed a lot since East Pakistan (till 1971)-- it now has 8 large administrative divisions, some 61-62 districts under the main divisions and sub-units such as both 'Upazilas' (introduced later, and some 500 of them) and 'Thanas' (old police units, some 509 of them now). In that respect, the East Pakistan list is redundant. However, the few of the 'thana' units that have survived and still exist are: Chittagong, Commilla, Dacca/Dhaka, Cox's Bazaar, Feni, Khulna, Kushtia, Manikganj, Maulvibazar, Munshiganj, Narayanganj, Shariatpur, Sylhet. Most of these are now labelled as 'saddar' (main/urban) thanas, in new listings. Most of such that are correct up to 2010 approx, can be seen online; and can also be counter-checked under 'Upazilas of Bangladesh' on the main English Wikipedia. I think that the old East Pakistani listings only have a slight historical interest for some people now, as Bangladesh has certainly moved on, and so has most of (normal{ Pakistan, except for maybe some of those sentimental people who did nothing to help East Pakistan back in the 60s and 70s but were in fact very pro-Pakistan army and pro-violence-- I am at least not one of those number and I find it a matter of pride to have resigned my government job back then in protest against atrocities against my East Pakistan/Bangladeshi brethren. It is another matter that I was then forced by the Pakistani establishment to live in exile in the UK for long years thereafter, but I am maybe prejudiced in this regard and of the view, strongly, that we should not encourage this dark chapter of our history too much-- I am fully in support of the idea of deleting this East Pakistan list and replacing it with a current Bangladeshi one. I hope this rant is of some help/use! V best regards, Hamneto (talk) 08:18, 21 January 2013 (UTC)Hamneto[reply]

Culture of bullying[change source]

I have responded to your comments here. If you do not understand, I am ready and willing to try to explain on-wiki in different words. --Ansei (talk) 14:03, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your response at Wikipedia:Simple talk#Culture of Bullying. I wonder if the struck-out words are unhelpful? I am guessing that they do not help to move the thread forward. I do not pull back from the words. I do not want to distance myself from what I wrote. However, it is possible that the struck-out words could be distracting in our fragile process of consensus-building. --Ansei (talk) 14:43, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

User page[change source]

Hi, I have create your user page at Malay Wikipedia. Look User:Chenzw.--Metrik (talk) 10:56, 26 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for helping out with my user page at ms.wiki. Unfortunately, I do not understand Malay (ms-0), and it is unlikely that I will be editing there. If I had been allowed to create my user page by myself I would have been able to clarify my ms-0 status first to avoid any misunderstanding. Chenzw  Talk  14:15, 26 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
