I changed something that you wrote[change source]

See List_of_ongoing_armed_conflicts#Wars_(1,000–9,999_combat-related_deaths_in_current_or_past_year). (I have changed something that you wrote on Simple-wiki.) 2001:2020:347:8DDA:243A:8166:ED8C:C061 (talk) 19:21, 9 October 2023 (UTC)/ 2001:2020:347:8DDA:243A:8166:ED8C:C061 (talk) 19:21, 9 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The entry of Lebanon (Hezbollah), and an incident in Alexandria, Egypt that saw israeli tourists killed meant that the conflict is no longer restricted to Gaza and Israel! Also there are several incidents occuring in West Bank which has led to injuries and deaths on both sides! Faraz Sualeh (talk) 19:25, 9 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
West Bank is in Israel ('more or less').--Reaction from a lone wolf gunman (rogue policeman?), can maybe be added to a "Reaction" section.--You might want to see if you can get En-wiki to change what they write (because this simple-wiki often , but not always, writes what En-wiki writes).--Please do not make that change on Simple-wiki, without consensus on the talk-page. 2001:2020:347:8DDA:243A:8166:ED8C:C061 (talk) 19:42, 9 October 2023 (UTC)/ 2001:2020:347:8DDA:243A:8166:ED8C:C061 (talk) 19:49, 9 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The incidents that are happening are in PA controlled areas such as Nablus, Jenin, Tulkarem.... like just an hour before Resistance fighters opened fire on Israeli soldiers at Shweika gate, Tulkarem. And of the total 700 palestinians that were killed so far 17 are from West Bank (PA controlled areas) and 95 others are injured in West Bank also it isn't necessary to just copy paste whatever it's written there on En Wiki! October 2023[change source]

Hello, Faraz Sualeh! Here at Simple English Wikipedia we use the section heading "Related pages" instead of English Wikipedia's "See also", which you used in "Abu Obaida (Hamas)". This makes it simpler and easier to read. Please remember to use "Related pages" in articles that you create in the future. Thank you for your help! MathXplore (talk) 12:27, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the info I only knew about 'Other Websites' instead of 'External Links' but I'll keep this in mind

Comments like these are never needed, please be careful. MathXplore (talk) 10:35, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe not (super) important[change source]

simple.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=2023_Israel–Hamas_war&oldid=9162

Hi, i have made an edit remark that says: "The infobox says 60 dead people. One has the option of waiting to update this section, until the infobox says "61" or more dead".--If you find this post (and my edit), helpful, or a little bit helpful, then fine. Thank you. 80.67.37.2 (talk) 16:44, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Capitalization of section headings[change source]

I found that you were using "Related Pages" in your creations, but I told you to use "Related pages" (special:diff/9142102). In the same manner, "Other Websites" have to be "Other websites" (Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style#Linking_to_other_websites). Please be careful about section headings, and try to take time to learn more about WP:MOS. Thank you for your attention. MathXplore (talk) 13:26, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for notifying, I was unaware of it Faraz Sualeh (talk) 14:04, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

How to add stub templates to an article[change source]

Stub templates have to come under categories, details are given at w:Wikipedia:Stub#How_to_mark_an_article_as_a_stub. I already fixed the stub template position for some of your creations. Please be careful in the future. MathXplore (talk) 13:40, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@MathXplore Hey, Btw can you suggest incase of 2023 Swiss federal election what should be the stub? Switzerland-stub or the Politics-stub? Faraz Sualeh (talk) 14:19, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You can add both of them by using {{multistub}}. MathXplore (talk) 14:20, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

its and it's[change source]

Please note the difference between "its" and "it's".

  • its: possessive of "it". The cat chased its tail.
  • it's: contraction for "it is". In China it's already night.

Thanks👍🏻
I'll try not make that silly mistake again Faraz Sualeh (talk) 07:56, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have started a couple of WikiProjects that might interest you.

They are both a bit quiet for now, I'm keen to find more contributors.
