Revamping on MRT pages

Hi since most of them chooses on Wikipedia Normal, i will revamp ALL the MRT pages in Singapore and I will update all of them to the latest instead of the past time. And i will create pages in the SIMPLE form.GTX1975 (talk) 14:36, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Wikipedia:Guide to layout regarding section names used here. For example, the section named "See also" is used at the English Wikipedia, but not here. If you find any pages using the Enwiki section names "See also" or "External links" please change them per the Simple English Wikipedia guideline. Thank you. What is the difference between Normal English Wiki and Simple English Wiki?

Well tell me what is the different between Simple English Wikipedia and English Wikipedia? Well HarbourFront Station was needed category for easier access.GTX1975 (talk) 13:56, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A very good question! The Simple English Wikipedia is a completely separate and independent project. While we both are written in English, this wiki is designed for readers that include children and those new to the English language. We use simpler sentences and Basic English wherever possible in our articles. By comparison, the English Wikipedia (or Enwiki) uses complex English. We have our own policies and guidelines that in some cases are similar to (or the same) as the English Wikipedia, but in other instances are different (as above in our Guide to layout). We have a starting point for editors from the English Wikipedia that addresses some of the more notable differences and has links you can follow to more information: Wikipedia:An English Wikipedian's guide. Unfortunately we do not have tutorials here so in most cases when an editor strays away from our guidelines and policies, other editors will try to help them understand by adding a notice or warning to their talk page. Many are "canned messages" and so may seem impersonal, but are designed to help integrate newer users into this project. I hope this answers your question. Thanks User:Rus793 (talk) 14:51, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reading complicated

Well your reading is very complicated for me to read, there are too many words for me to understand better. Anyway next time can you paragraph it for me to read very well? Thank you!GTX1975 (talk) 14:27, 18 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Month/year sections for messages

Hello, GTX1975. If I understand your edit summary correctly, you are saying that on English Wikipedia ("enwiki") a user talk page can have multiple sections of messages for the same month and year. (Please let me know if that isn't what you meant.) Here we don't do that. One reason is the way that Twinkle works with those sections. It might be that the version of Twinkle on enwiki is different from ours, but the one here doesn't work right if a section for the current month and year exists but is not at the bottom of the page. If Twinkle sees that there is a section, it puts new messages at the end of the page whether or not the month/year section is at the end, and it doesn't add a heading. That is why I moved the section at the end of the page, and why I am not putting this new section at the bottom. Please leave the April 2016 section at the bottom, until the month is over. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 04:48, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Means we need to keep share and share and share all those messages. I can't archive my messages like that. At the end of the month I will be archiving all my messages for more space.GTX1975 (talk) 05:25, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

April 2016

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make helpful changes to Wikipedia. However, some of your changes, like those to "HarbourFront MRT Station", did not seem to be helpful and have been reverted or removed. If you want to try out changing Wikipedia to learn more about how it works, please use the sandbox. Thank you. User:Rus793 (talk) 13:50, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Platform screen doors Translation

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but "Platform screen doors" was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before or immediately after being added to the Simple English Wikipedia. In addition, be sure to include attribution on the article's talk page. Thank you. The content translation process does not simplify articles, so articles created with it still need to be simplified. Auntof6 (talk) 17:02, 22 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I was doing translation between Normal English and Simple English Wikipedias, but anyway it was still ok. But so far no helps!GTX1975 (talk) 04:17, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You might want to do that kind of work in a sandbox in your userspace. Articles created in userspace should either be simplified right away, or tagged that they are being simplified and then be simplified fairly soon. --Auntof6 (talk) 04:49, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

What are the words different between Normal English and Simple English Wiki?

Well, can anyone tell me what is the words which are more likely to be different from Normal English Wikipedia (enwiki) and Simple English Wikipedia. The word different is See Also for Normal English Wikipedia and Related pages for Simple English Wikipedia. Well anymore words which are more likely to be different? Because when I edit more in the future, I will know which I cannot be used in Simple English which was only use on Normal English. Because Normal English is a Complex English.

What is Complex English?

Hi users, can anyone tell me what is Complex English meaning? Is it in Harder Words or was it mixed with Simple and Difficult Words, because people have to be read new words and people may find it confusing for them. Was it in harder version?GTX (talk) 07:22, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Adding Languages

Well every station that I created, I will USUALLY ADD Languages from Simple English Wikipedia to another Wikipedia Langauges (most likely English Wikipedia) cause it was the popular language in the world if i'm not wrong, but since it wasn't appear in the Contributions List, it will be fine to me, after I edit first edit, I will add languages all the time.GTX (talk) 07:40, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling Fail

Holy crap, now all my spelling words were in the big disasters because I cannot spell properly eventhough I spell correctly, but luckily I recorrect my spelling words im the good terms of use but now my spelling words have to be change in Proper spelling. So that others can look at my user talkpage. You see, now my edits have to be increased all because of my spelling mistakes. But anyway, it doesn't matter, so long i'll try my Best! Enjoy the nice day!GTX (talk) 10:38, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Creation to All MRT/LRT Pages

Well, as i'm a helper of Singapore pages, i'll help to edit and create pages on overseas besides Singapore articles, but any other times, I need to get their permssion from other users first. But anyway i'll be creating All the Mass Rapid Transit (Singapore) and Light Rail Transit (Singapore) related stuff pages and I will be completing either December 2016 or January 2017. You see how, let's see my performance how good am I? But anyway I'm a Good Editor not bad. I'm a nice and good. Same thing i'll use Simple Words NOT Complex words which was being used in Complex English (which now the Normal English (enwiki) which i'm blocked indefinitely for sockpuppeting but i'm not a sockpuppet). But anyway we care on Simple English not Normal English. But anyway i'll create on MRT and LRT related pages in Singapore and i must be done by December 2016. Have a nice day editing!GTX (talk) 10:55, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I've changed from Stations to Pages because i'll be creating on their rolling stocks as well but not only train stations, also related stuff relating to Singapore. But I also can create another types of Singapore stuffs like MediaCorp Channel 5 which have been created and which i've been edited.GTX (talk) 10:57, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Question - Complex English

Question: What is Complex English?[change] Hi users, can anyone tell me what is Complex English meaning? Is it in Harder Words or was it mixed with Simple and Difficult Words, because people have to be read new words and people may find it confusing for them. Was it in harder version?GTX (talk) 07:22, 29 April 2016 (UTC)

Articles in Simple English Wikipedia are written for readers who include children and those new to the English language. We use simpler sentences and Basic English in our articles. By comparison, the English Wikipedia is written in English at a level most adult readers would understand if their first language was English. In other words, if they went to school in a country where English was the main language.

Question - Adding Languages

Question: Adding Languages[change] Well every station that I created, I will USUALLY ADD Languages from Simple English Wikipedia to another Wikipedia Langauges (most likely English Wikipedia) cause it was the popular language in the world if i'm not wrong, but since it wasn't appear in the Contributions List, it will be fine to me, after I edit first edit, I will add languages all the time.GTX (talk) 07:40, 29 April 2016 (UTC)

I am not sure I understand this question. But if you are asking if you can translate an article from another language Wikipedia, yes you can. However, that article would still need to be simplified for our readers. That means simple sentences and simpler words. Here is a web page explaining simple, compound and complex sentences. See if this helps answer your question. Thank you. User:Rus793 (talk) 22:07, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Letter Casing

Since now i have moved ALL the pages relating to Mediacorp, the name formerly MediaCorp was become to normal Mediacorp because the English Wikipedia uses Mediacorp but Simple Wikipedia was uses MediaCorp, but it doesn't matter. All the pages: Mediacorp Channel 5, Mediacorp Channel 8 and the mainly Mediacorp had been changed and moved to lower casing. Eventhough Normal English Wikipedia must not do that and follow in this Simple English Wikipedia, so i'll be updating all around Singapore. Now I have the wonderful time editing!GTX (talk) 15:30, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your questions (copied from your Archive 1)

Begin by reading Wikipedia:How to write Simple English pages. Pay special attention to the section "Basic English and VOA Special English". This should be a good start. Forgotten Edit Summary

My humblest apologies, i'm sorry that I created an article called Joo Koon MRT Station, i forgotten the Edit Summary what is about what? Initially I placed the edit summary, New page about Joo Koon' but I accidentally save it. Now it shows what source I placed, but it doesn't matter, I just learn to write down the edit summary about the page that I created next time if not will show what words are there. But since most of them that I created I placed, that it will be fine! But it doesn't matter. And also, Enjoy your day editing!GTX (talk) 12:35, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Forgotten Edit Summary on My Talkpage

I'm very forgetful editor but anyway I'm not, because I almost not putting the word Archiving which I will usually Archive all those messages, but since then none of them always reply to me, means I edit very very well but also I did editing good but however when I created all the articles, none of them read my articles because they will usually do on something else. But however the good thing is that on My User Talkpage when I archive all those messages I will always placed Archiving and also sometimes I will placed Number then Messages Archived means know how many messages I archived. Because this is for my own good. But also the same, have a nice sunny day editing!GTX (talk) 12:40, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
