Bolding article titles[change source]

Hello, MM&I. Thanks for your work here. I noticed a few changes that you made with the edit summary "adjust bold". For example, in Percy Jackson, you changed this:

'''Perseus "Percy" Jackson'''

to this:

'''Perseus''' "'''Percy'''" '''Jackson'''

Please do not make changes like that. Since the whole name is bolded, there is no need to have separate bolding code for the nickname in parentheses. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 04:26, 29 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, sorry about that. I'm used to following the English Wikipedia's manual of style. Hope it wasn't too much trouble to fix. Thank you for telling me, Auntof6. Me, Myself & I (☮) (talk) 04:32, 29 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Is that actually in their manual of style? I didn't think it was done there, either. --Auntof6 (talk) 04:34, 29 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Auntof6:: Admittedly, it's a pretty small mention. In MOS:QUOTEMARKS, it mentions under "Article openings" that "added quotation marks" (i.e. around poem titles and in names) should not be bolded (the example given was William Jefferson "Bill" Clinton (as opposed to William Jefferson "Bill" Clinton)).
