Creating categories[change source]

You might not have known, but on this Wikipedia there needs to be at least three entries in a category. This is documented at Wikipedia:Categories#Is there a need for the new category?. Some categories you created recently did not have that many, and have been deleted. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask. --Auntof6 (talk) 23:10, 27 April 2020 (UTC)

@Auntof6:Hi greetings, thank you very much for the advice. I'll consider this in my future edits. Hope to give this kind of advice in the future also. Thank you.--Path slopu (Talk) 06:35, 28 April 2020 (UTC)

Talk page archiving[change source]

Hi. I noticed that you added the MiszaBot template to your talk page. I think it has to be the very first thing on the page, even before the talk header, or it won't work. That might have changed, but if you find the archives aren't being done, that might be why. --Auntof6 (talk) 09:58, 28 April 2020 (UTC)

@Auntof6:Hi greetings, thank you very much for the advice. Hope this kind of advice will give in future also. Thank you. --Path slopu (Talk) 05:29, 29 April 2020 (UTC)

flag[change source]

how do I get a waving japan flag on top of the Wikipedia logo? --Thegooduser Let's Talk! :) 🍁 17:06, 6 May 2020 (UTC)

@Thegooduser:Hi greetings, you can do it by just putting this code in your user page
 • <div style="position:absolute; top:-9.6em; left:-13em; background:#f6f6f6; z-index:1;"></div>

Other examples

 • <div style="position:absolute; top:-9.6em; left:-13em; background:#f6f6f6; z-index:1;"></div>
 • <div style="position:absolute; top:-9.6em; left:-13em; background:#f6f6f6; z-index:1;"></div>

You may should adjust the values in top, left, etc when adding it on your user page. Thank you--Path slopu (Talk) 10:24, 7 May 2020 (UTC)

AWB access removed[change source]

Hi, Path slopu. I'm sorry to tell you that I have removed your AWB access for now. This is because I've seen several articles where you added reference sections that weren't needed (because there are no references on the page), and adding reference sections is one of the tasks you wanted to do with AWB. Before granting access again, I would want you to go back and remove the unneeded reference sections. --Auntof6 (talk) 06:24, 7 May 2020 (UTC)

@Auntof6: Hi greetings, extremely sorry for the mistake. I only tried to add reference section in articles lacking it. I have edited around 200 articles with JWB. So it may contain 100+ articles as you said. Reverting all that edit is a difficult task. So, I can't revert it. I am giving my apology. But I will not add reference section in articles without references in future. Also I am going to take a wikibreak due to some personal reasons (only a coincidence). Therefore I don't need AWB access for now. I am temporarily stopping all my works on wikis and will come back after some weeks. Anyway, thank you very much for your helps and advices. Regards.--Path slopu (Talk) 12:23, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
Yes, it might be a difficult task, but you need to be willing and able to fix errors you cause. Because of this, when you return from your break, I would oppose you getting either AWB access or the flood flag until you are able to show that you better understand what you're doing and would be prepared to fix or undo everything if necessary.
And by the way, I just removed all the unneeded references sections you added. It wasn't that big a task, using AWB. --Auntof6 (talk) 00:10, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
Thank you very much for undoing them. I'll surely discuss about this with you after I come back from wikibreak. Hope you'll help. Thank you--Path slopu (Talk) 06:27, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
Yes, I'm willing to help. --Auntof6 (talk) 07:28, 8 May 2020 (UTC)

Reference sections on stubs[change source]

Hi. I've undone a few of your edits, where you added a references section to stub that only had a few sentences. When there is a page with only a few sentences and no references, this heading just clutters the page. The first person to add a reference can add the section at the time the reference is added. Then it is added when first useful. Desertborn (talk) 10:39, 7 May 2020 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) To be absolutely clear, the need for a reference section has nothing to do with the size of an article or whether it's a stub. If a page has references, it needs a references section (or, rarely, a reference display within a specific section). If there are no references, then no reference section should be there. The same is true for notes, which are displayed separately from references but which can look like references. --Auntof6 (talk) 11:06, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
@Desertborn, Auntof6:Hi greetings, I definitely agree with you. I will not add reference section in articles haven't references. Thank you for reverting my edits. Regards.--Path slopu (Talk) 12:33, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
