New Religious Movements[change source]

New Religious Movements (notably NRM) are simply called "alternative spirituality" into which could be a full-fledged original faith with its own identity or being part of a broader religious entity. A very controversial example is the Church of Scientology (or just Scientology), being such a hot topic because of the narrations within the faith versus those who attend services just for fun. Some say it is spiritual poison while others say it's just a church -- although the Church is not technically Christian. NRMs are considered by many to be mere cults when the word "cult" is used to signify an exclusive religious group that opposes society and prefers isolation of their members following a charismatic leader. In short, cults are regarded as local and not to be mistaken for affiliates of a religious or spiritual institution. Quenya 996 (talk) 17:10, 19 September 2021 (UTC)Quenya 996[reply]

Pardon the length of my statement, but some consider me to be a "walking encyclopedia." Quenya 996 (talk) 17:10, 19 September 2021 (UTC)Quenya 996[reply]

Encyclopedic Nature[change source]

It's funny how Wikipedia can be an online encyclopedia with an intellectual sense of humor. If you figured out the "joke" or "riddle," then you have received $1,000 (USD) worth of information. Now having most users turning the "other way" instead of donating to Wikipedia is not funny! Quenya 996 (talk) 21:55, 19 September 2021 (UTC)Quenya 996[reply]

I am a Zeo, an adherent of Zen, and I feel my religion to be taken as a Buddhist sect. I know Zen. Its teachings are anything but Buddhist. In some other incidents, Unitarianism is denied Christian status while Sufism is rejected by orthodox Muslims. I know each religion is unique from one another, but I do not wish for Wikipedia to be taken as a hoax. As a matter of fact, Buddhists reject Zen as one of its ranks. Go ahead and delete Zeo. I saw a red link and created a test page. You need to expand your horizons. Quenya 996 (talk) 00:58, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
