Your edit[change source]

Eh, if you know enough to find and use pictures, how can you be so silly that you write on the Main Page instead of on your own user page or my talk page or any page that has anything to do with Nanjing? You know... like Nanjing.

In any case, you wrote

Nanjing is an ancient city and the capital of Jiangsu Provence in eastern China. It is next to the Yangtze River in southwestern Jiangsu. Nanjing has a lot of historical places because it was the capital of the Ming Dynasty, Wu and the Republic of China. It has the Confucius Temple and the Xuanwu Lake. It is the home of the tombs of Zhu Yuanzhang and Sun Yat-sen. Nanjing has a famous building called Nanjing Zifeng Tower and it is as high as the tallest mountain in Nanjing called Purple Mountain. There is also a well-known place called Presidential Palace where the “presidents” worked in the past. The Nanjing Massacre happened in late 1937 and about thirty million Chinese killed by Japanese. So Nanjing has a museum for those people who were killed by Japanese. Nanjing has its special stone :pebbles。Nanjing’s famous local food is osmanthus cake and it tastes very delicious!

The first sentence is great, even if ancient cities use the past tense and Nanjing was medieval, not ancient. Second sentence, also great. Third sentence, you go from the 1400s to the -400s to the 1900s, which doesn't make any sense. Xuanwu Lake is a name, and the other isn't the only Confucian Temple in China. Zhu Yuanzhang is called the Hongwu Emperor in English, but again good grammar overall. You don't have to say it has a building or that the building is famous; just talk about the building. Purple Mountain doesn't usually have a "the". Don't talk about the well-known place being well-known; if it weren't well-known, we would not be writing about it. The presidents weren't fake, so you don't need "quotes" around the word; you do need to say what kind of presidents worked there. 300,000 is not 30,000,000; don't use 万 AT ALL when you think about English. The Chinese didn't kill other people near the Japanese; they were killed by the Japanese. "So" shouldn't start a new sentence. Don't say "by the Japanese" twice in two sentences. Don't give your personal opinions here, since other people may feel differently.

I have no idea what you're talking about with "pebbles" but you shouldn't use Chinese periods in English.

About 300,000 Chinese were killed by the Japanese. Nanjing has a museum to remember the people who were killed. Nanjing has its own special stone: pebbles. Nanjing’s most famous local food is osmanthus cake.

This isn't bad, although it may be easier to fix the article about the Zifeng Tower than to add the good parts of your writing to what's already at Nanjing. Jiayou. — Mr Spear (talk) 21:20, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The Zifeng Tower[change source]

The Zifeng Tower is a new building in Xuanwu District in Nanjing. It was built during 2005 to 2008 and was used in 2010. It’s designer is an American. “Zifeng” means a purple mountain. It is as high as the tallest mountain in Nanjing called Purple Mountain. Purple Mountain is to the east of it. The Yangtze River is to the west of it. It is free to get in and there are many supermarkets in it. You can go there by bus Road 1, 25, 28, 33 or 35. Get off at the central road. You can also take the underground line 1 or 4. Get off at the Gulou station.
