Thanks; I'm already an active editor on en. and de.wikipedia.org, though. ;-) ToBeFree (talk) 16:06, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

To expand a bit: yes, they've caused cross-wiki disruption. But if they want to improve the project, there's not much point in blocking unless there are any more specific problems with their edits. At this point, the only issue is non-simple contributions, which there are easy fixes for. Best, Vermont (talk) 22:32, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Vermont, they're creating these articles to let others copy them to enwiki, evading their ban. That's all. That's the whole point. The user is extremely unlikely to be interested in this project or its language; the user needs a new webspace provider after they've been thrown out of the German Wikipedia where they did the same thing. Again, the current discussion at en:WP:AN (that's not the discussion that led to their ban!) describes what is happening. ToBeFree (talk) 22:35, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Looking. Thanks, Vermont (talk) 22:38, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Application for blocking my account[change source]

@ToBeFree, hello. I want you to block this account on your enwiki. I asked you because I was blocked by a checkuser. Operator873 allowed me to access this last account in order to continue my service in here. You can check my TP for reference. Another reason, if I accidentally edit on enwiki, I will be victim of sock again and they will ban me from WMF. Because I use enwiki for coying the articles to simplewiki. Hi DRC-B5, thank you very much for the request. I can understand your situation and have created the block as you have requested. ToBeFree (talk) 17:18, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I was about to block this account using Wikibreak Enforcer but it's different in my situation. So, I went for admin request. I found you and sent this message. Another question, after my 6 months exemption from this enwiki, already 3 months ongoing, will I apply my request for unblock in ArbCom? Or should I wait for another 6 months and apply a regular unblock? I have prepared my decision to edit on India-based articles. And I will have a monitor on RC patrol as I'm Expert in it. But this will happen if I only get unblocked. Not now. Dibyojyotilet's chat 17:32, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, DRC-B5.
Hmm. I think waiting for 6 months and then directly requesting an unblock may not be the best idea. In general, the more time has passed, the more likely the community will believe that a person has actually changed in that time.
From my point of view, appealing to the Arbitration Committee only makes sense if your appeal contains private information, or if the committee has requested this. ToBeFree (talk) 18:05, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
So, I think one year is least for me for proving myself that I have changed. As I will make edits on pages related to 2024 Lok Sabha elections and all stuff. Thanks for the suggestion. Dibyojyotilet's chat 18:30, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome; all the best. ToBeFree (talk) 18:44, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
