Are you the same Zephyr as Zephyr2k? --Jessicagirl 04:10, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am not familiar with either of those nicks. Zephyrad 04:11, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. Thanks, --Jessicagirl 04:22, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Where in Nevada are you? j. rand|talk| ε contribs|email 07:11, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but I do not disclose that information to people I don't know. Zephyrad 14:11, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I'm fine with that. j. rand|talk| ε contribs|email 18:20, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My Wiki[change source]

Hello. Since you are also from Nevada, you may consider joining my wiki about Nevada that I'm working on. Anyone can get adminship! Unfortunately, there are AdSense ads that you may know as "Ads by Gooooooogle". I really need HELP! :) ionas talk contribs 04:20, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please respond. You will get adminship ASAP. ionas talk contribs 06:13, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No thanks
Just because I live in Nevada does not mean I am interested in writing about it; nor does it obligate me to do so, or to join anyone's project. The attitude I see reflected in your messages and on this page suggests you've got some kinks to work out in your sense of yes-and-no and mine-and-yours, not to mention in how to approach or deal with elders and others. Good luck. Zephyrad 06:34, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is common for an editor to reply on a user's talk page unless explicitly stated otherwise on the talk page of the user who is being replied to. Do not expect a editor not familiar with the eccentricities of Wikipedia to know your personal rules for user talk page discussion that you don't state on the user talk page. There is a link in your signature that says "talk". That would ordinarily be inferred as "talk to me here". — Jonas (talk · proposal) 14:21, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Zephyrad,
You either did not understand my comments, or deliberately lied about them. I am assuming the former. If the latter is true, then I should not even be communicating with you.
My comments were misrepresented. I never said that a talk page was anything outside its actual definition. I said, and I quote from above, "There is a link in your signature that says talk. That would ordinarily be inferred as 'talk to me here'". For someone who does not know all the different terminology used in Wikiland, or of Wikipedians' manipulation of thise terms, it may appear that "talk" means "send messages to me here". In fact, I still believe that, as if that were not true, then the New Messages bar would not be programmed to appear when a user has new messages on their talk page.
The term "talk page" was coined to mean a page where people can communicate with a certain user. The discussion is an electronic representation of talking, hence the name. The automatic link for "(talk)" appears when you leave the signature preference untouched, and sign your name. "Talk" means that is where you can talk to the user about something, and it is supposed to be the user's actions. I should not have to explain that if you have a basic understanding of the concept of discussion.
Your comment "I do not feel bound or compelled to listen to you, since you are neither an admin or an adult" exhibits ageism and the rudeness that you adminished Berserkerus for. That pseudo-logic can also be used against you, as you are not an admin and you have been hypocritical about civility. Threatening to "report [Berserkerus and I] to an admin" is not the proper course of action, as Berserkerus merely does not know the intricacies of Wikipedia (or the English Language), and I am merely defending him. — Jonas (talk · proposal) 01:25, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I was not trying to impress you. We are supposed to be helping people learn, specifically those who do not speak English as their native language and who want to learn it. Someone is needed to butt in and give their opinions when the very mission that we supposedly live by (to help people who are learning English) is violated, by intimidating a user like you just did. I disagree with your actions. I would like a third party to evaluate this situation. None of you are providing any evidence to support your claims, and I may have been wrong when I claimed to defend him.
As for the age discrimination, I find it insulting that you choose to dismiss me because of my age. We are here to work together dedicated to help build an encyclopedia for non-native English speakers learning English. When there is something contentious, we try to back it up with sources and discuss it. Where are your sources?
I merely see it as rude that you choose to think that being older somehow makes you better. In my opinion, it does not. Whether I weas blocked in the past does not matter, so long as I am not continuing the behavior that got me banned. And although I am not an admin, I never claimed to be one, and nor are you. I do not see the logic behind that argument, or what you are even trying to say. — Jonas (talk · proposal) 03:07, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I must point out that neither of those two pictures are even close to the behaviour of an energy wave and that both pictures are equally good descriptions. I have read the arguements and you should try as hard to explain the differences between the pictures as you are explaining differences between yourselves. ~ R.T.G 03:45, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First, the spelling is niether, not neither (I can see how German speakers can get confused with this one). Second, [1] [2] ([3] and [4]) are most like Berserkerus' diagram. PBS Can Zephyrad back his/her claim up with sources? — Jonas (talk · proposal) 04:20, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am Irish. You say toomayto. I say toomaato. Talk about the picture is first and only. ~ R.T.G 13:20, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
