Veryl A. Switzer (August 6, 1932 – June 4, 2022) was an American professional football player. He was a halfback in the National Football League (NFL) and the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played in the NFL for 24 games with the Green Bay Packers from 1954 until 1955. He also played for Calgary Stampeders and Montreal Alouettes.[1]

Switzer died in Manhattan, Kansas on June 4, 2022, at the age of 89.[1][2]
