Discussion[change source]

  •  Comment: Reviewing the page and its contents, as well as the notability rules, I'd say that he might not be notable enough. It doesn't seem like there are many sources about him and he hasn't released many songs. The only notable thing seems to be that he is the fastest guitarist in the world. — Preceding unsigned comment added by InfernoGaming46 (talkcontribs) 16:33, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment: hello everyone. some new content has been added now about international tours. now it meets also the notability criteria of international tours. thanks in advance — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.80.12.159 (talkcontribs) 16:56, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In Brazil, he performed at Anhembi Sambadrome. This outdoor venue has 103,200 people according to en wikipedia. 79.18.35.8 (talk) 20:56, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge with Guitar string. If that is not possible, then wait for the German-wiki discussion to finish soon [1], to get a better perspective.--He is maybe not wiki-notable as a musician. However, if say 3 guitar-music experts talk/write about him - more than passing mention - then maybe that would have enough wiki-notabilty for simple-wiki. 46.15.87.134 (talk) 21:52, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, i just saw that in Asia he was on the evening news and the he played the National Anthem of Bangladesh which reached more than half a million views in a short time.[2] 79.18.35.8 (talk) 22:10, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Delete - The coverage presented here are not in-depth enough, and mostly parrot each other about a single achievement. The Rolling Stone article only talks about his record of playing 129 notes/second. It's also an interview, which is not independent of the subject. Noting enwiki's stance on Rolling Stone's capsule reviews: The publication's capsule reviews deserve less weight than their full-length reviews, as they are subject to a lower standard of fact-checking.
As for he played the National Anthem of Bangladesh which reached more than half a million views in a short time: how "short" is that period of time? Half a million views without significant coverage doesn't indicate notability. Merging the article with guitar string (which is nonexistent) is not an option.— *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 22:22, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, what about the award winning at sanremo music awards? 79.18.35.8 (talk) 22:28, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A single passing mention in the source for that. While winning that award is a claim of notability, it does not mean the subject is necessarily notable. — *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 22:34, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
hello check this out, he has been featured on the famous Bengali tv program DBCNEWS. Is this notable?[3] 79.18.35.8 (talk) 22:37, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
he played a song on this television channel. this is notable or not? 79.18.35.8 (talk) 22:45, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Simply playing a song on a television channel doesn't immediately mean notability InfernoGaming46 (IG46) (talk / changes) 00:51, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
User:InfernoGaming46 I am sorry but the notability criteria says “Has performed music for a work of media that is notable, e.g. a theme for a network television show, performance in a television show” and he played on DBCNEWS which is a notable television program from Bangladesh. 79.18.35.8 (talk) 18:02, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I just added the Bengali television performance with notable source of the tv site. 79.18.35.8 (talk) 22:41, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
From what I understand, that is referring to composing music for a television show, not playing music on a news program. InfernoGaming46 (IG46) (talk / changes) 17:59, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
WP:NMUSIC says: Has written a song or composition which has won (or in some cases been given a second or other place) in a major music competition not set up just for newcomers. The key point here is the last statement. According to enwiki, the Sanremo Music Festival is for newcomers, which means this feat doesn’t provide any notability. InfernoGaming46 (IG46) (talk / changes) 18:05, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
oh ok, i don’t know things about italy music festivals but the notability criteria says “performance in a television show” and he did. please explain, i want to learn about wikipedia and i thank everyone of you guys for telling new things.
thanks to your help, i also created the page Duff McKagan and i think i did correct. 79.18.35.8 (talk) 21:42, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As I said above, that criteria is likely referring to composing music for a tv show or movie, not playing a song for a news program. InfernoGaming46 (IG46) (talk / changes) 21:54, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
