I am admin/rollbacker on other sites, and have experience here with anti-vandalism. I would like to have privileges, one reason being able to revert multiple bad changes by one user to a particular article.--Colonel Battaleaxe (talk) 11:42, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • FAO the closing admin: I'm concerned at things like this and this. Obviously I don't make this decision but think it might be sensible to take things like this, which perhaps show immaturity, into account when allocating relatively powerful tools. Not done No experience with rollback in Wikimedia wikis, almost no experience here with vandalism, plus general immaturity and previously using Wikipedia; so no. Pmlineditor (t · c · l) 13:04, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Okay to the request, but how does that show immaturity? The editor in question (who is infinitely banned, mind you) introduced me to the site and was contacting me via my user talk page. I have made only constructive edits to articles during my time here, and find it bizarre you think I am a childish brute.--Colonel Battaleaxe (talk) 17:59, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The fact that you presume that I consider you a "childish brute" (which I do not, I simply think you need more experience; our first edits don't determine our maturity/ability as an editor) is itself a proof of our immaturity. Had you made some more edits and requested this after some time, I probably would have granted the right to you. Pmlineditor (t · c · l) 18:32, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies. I still need to learn. I just guess I was coasting too much on my accomplishments elsewhere. Sorry if I was breaking any rules in the past with the Mr. berty conversations, and I plan only to create good content. Cheers!--Colonel Battaleaxe (talk) 19:09, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, hah. Will perhaps set up some archiving later today. Jon@talk:~$ 21:22, 10 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
