DeWitt Clinton Cregier (June 1, 1829 – November 9, 1898) was an American politician who served as mayor of Chicago, Illinois (1889–1891) for the Democratic Party.

Cregier was born on June 1, 1829 in New York City, New York.[1] He was married to Mary Sophia Foggin. They had ten children. Cregier died on November 9, 1898 in Chicago, Illinois from pneumonia, aged 69.
