Idaho State University is a public university in Pocatello, Idaho. The university has about 15,553 students. It was founded in 1901. The current president of the university is Arthur C. Vailas, Ph.D. .

The men's athletics teams of the university are called the Bengals. They have 15 varsity teams and they compete in the Big Sky Conference.
