California State University, Sacramento also known as Sacramento University is a public university in Sacramento, California. The university has about 29,241 students. It was founded in 1947. The current president of the university is Alexander Gonzalez.

The men's athletics teams of the university are called the Hornets. They have 15 varsity teams and they compete in the Big Sky Conference.
