Welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia[change source]

Hi, Wutsje! Welcome to Simple English Wikipedia! Thank you for your changes!

If you need help, check out the Help section of Wikipedia, or leave a message on my talk page.

Whenever leaving messages on talk pages, please remember to sign your name by typing four 'tildes' (like this: ~~~~); doing this makes your name and the date show up. Also, it helps if you write something in the box that says 'edit summary' whenever you change an article.

Below are some useful links to make your time here simpler.

If you make a short article please mark it with {{stub}}, our guideline is here.

Happy editing! Razorflame 00:29, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Wutsje, I have protected Erica Durance because of an edit war regarding the image to use in the infobox. In the meanwhile, please discuss the image changes at Talk:Erica Durance. Thanks. — *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 05:13, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

April 2024[change source]

Hello, Wutsje. When you revert a user's changes, like you did earlier, don't forget to leave the user a message on their talk page, especially when reverting vandalism or a test edit. You may find Template:User talk page warnings/table useful when doing this, to let them know that the change was considered inappropriate, and to direct them to the sandbox. Thank you. Thanks, and be well! - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 03:52, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I prefer using twinkle (a gadget in your user preferences you can enable) as it does it automatically for me. Thanks, and be well! - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 03:53, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi PDL, if this is about an edit like this one: could you please explain what use it might have to leave a message on one of 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 possible user talk pages behind only one IPv6-address? Thanks in advance and regards, Wutsje (talk) 04:13, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Our admins will not take any action without user warnings being placed. If a user only has one warning they will not take action and they will state Not done - insufficient warnings given irregardless of how bad it was. I was talking about this one. But yeah our admins require us to give the warnings before we can take them to VIP unless it is proven block evasion on the board. My most important concern is reverting any spam/vandalism. I'd rather leave the warnings to a bot, thank you. The w:simple admins surely are monitoring recent changes and I trust them to take action as they see fit. Wutsje (talk) 04:30, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Talk pages[change source]

Hi there, if you see a talk page created with vandalism on, where the article page isn't deleted, it doesn't need deletion. All you need to do is just replace it with {{talk header}}. There is a script that does this for you automatically. Thanks! --Ferien (talk) 15:36, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ferien, that is a useful tip. Thank you and regards, Wutsje (talk) 15:43, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
