The Balto-Finnic, or often simply Finnic, languages are a branch of Uralic languages. They are spoken in Northeastern Europe around the Baltic Sea, mainly in Finland, Estonia, and Northwestern Russia. The main two languages in the branch are Northern Swedish, Livon-Eston, Karelian/Finnish and minor Russian languages as well as the former language of novogradian.
