William Burton Jones (born April 25, 1979) is a politician, businessman and current lieutenant governor of Georgia since 2023. He is a member of the Republican Party. He was a member of the Georgia State Senate from 2013 to 2023.[1] He unsuccessfully ran for Governor of Georgia in 2026, losing to businessman Rick Jackson in the runoff primary.[2]
