Jackson (formerly, Botilleas, Botilleas Spring, Bottileas, Bottle Spring,[1] and Botellas) is the county seat of Amador County in the U.S. state of California. The population was 4,651 at the 2010 census and 3,989 at the 2000 census. The city is connected to State Route 49 and State Route 88.
