Karen Shenaz David (born 15 April 1979) is an Indian-Canadian-British actress, singer, and songwriter. She is best known for portraying Princess Isabella Maria Lucia Elizabetta of Valencia in ABC's fairytale-themed musical-comedy series Galavant (2015–2016), as well as the Head of Spanish Cesca Montoya in the BBC school-based drama series Waterloo Road (2010–2011), and Layla in the American action film The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior (2008). She starred as Angela in the ITV comedy-drama series Cold Feet (2016), and played Princess Jasmine (from Aladdin) in the American fantasy adventure drama series Once Upon a Time (2016–2017).

From 2011 to 2012, David starred in Pixelface, a CBBC children's series, where she played Alexia, the glamorous legend hunter.

She had a recurring role on The CW's Legacies as Emma, a guidance counselor and witch (2018–2019), and currently appears in the regular role of Grace Mukherjee in American post-apocalyptic horror drama series Fear the Walking Dead (2019–present).

David was born in Shillong, Meghalaya, India, Her mother is Khasi and half Chinese, whereas her father is an Indian-Jewish. She was raised in Canada and then at age 17, David moved to London, United Kingdom to study at the Guildford School of Acting.
