Peshawar is a city in Pakistan, and it is the capital of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Pashto is the main language spoken in Peshawar. The population in 2010 was 3,300,000 people.[1] It has a semi-arid climate (BSh in the Köppen climate classification).

Peshawar is Purushapura which is Land of Men (Purusha means Man).
