Brief PGA comments[change source]

Long overdue, but here are a few comments. I think it still needs a fair amount of simplification and some checking. Simplifying scientific articles like this can be especially hard, but I've tried to make a few suggestions.

According to the Manual of style, slashes should not be used between words, so the section heading Importance/uses needs to be reworded to be more specific. Fixed clarified
"high salinity environments" is complex because "salinity" is not a simple word. "A lot of salt" is simpler. Fixed
"To deal with" is idiomatic and could be simpler. Fixed
"Life-style" is usually one word, but do these creatures even have a lifestyle?
The opening sentence doesn't tell the reader that these are even living things "Halophiles are extremophiles[1] which must have a certain concentration of salt in their environments to live." Halophile is defined by the unusual, complex word extremophile. I'd suggest moving extremophile to some later point and just saying that "Halophiles are living things that must have much salt in their environment to live." The phrase "a certain concentration" is not specific or accurate because "a certain concentration" could be zero or some other low concentration. Fixed

I have had a look at the article, and compared it to the enwp and dewp version:

I fixed a few problems I saw with expression things:

Added an image (of different-colored salt-evaporation ponds)
Would it be possible to extend the section Importance and uses (and perhaps classification) to match the length of the section "lifestyle"?
