GA review, part 1[change source]

Due to time constraints, I have reviewed this article only up to the section "Early career".

Lede[change source]

  • "He was elected Labour Leader in 2015" - is "Labour Leader" a well-known term, or do we consider it a neologism for "Leader of the Labour Party"?
  • "He went to the North London Polytechnic without getting a degree." vs. "He went to the University of North London" and Alma mater value in infobox: I understand that there has been a change in the name of the educational institution, but can this be standardized in the article?
  • I have corrected minor errors in punctuation. Do note that punctuation should go before <ref> tags.

Early life[change source]

  • This section contains information already mentioned in para 2 of the lede. Can the duplicated info be removed from the lede?
  • Why is "Yew Tree Manor" in quotes?
  • Added missing punctuation.

Early career[change source]

  • "He became a member of a district health authority.": when, and under what circumstances? Also, the cited source does not appear to support this statement.

Sorry that I couldn't do much. I will create a new section when I get around to looking at the rest of the article. --Chenzw  Talk  14:38, 26 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
