Simplifying and eligibility[change source]

@Haoreima: the organizers at Meta said that jurors like me are allowed to help simplify articles and they will still be eligible for entry. I'm going to get started, but let me know if you'd rather do it yourself. Then I'll wait until October 1 when the contest is over. My personal preference is that you do all of the translation work yourself, but I wouldn't force the issue even if I could. Darkfrog24 (talk) 17:08, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Darkfrog24: Thank you for your kindness. Please carry on the development! Cheers! Haoreima (talk) 17:55, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Any work you want to do on this is good. Remember, we have until October 1 to scrub it until it is shiny! Darkfrog24 (talk) 18:21, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Darkfrog24: I helped btw, does that disqualify this article?

@Elytrian: No, Ely! Haoreima (talk) 16:28, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Elytrian: Wikipedia is a place welcome to everyone, not reserved for anyone. So, since the participating article belongs to Wikipedia and not a person, I think there will be no disqualification (though jury members may like another thing, which is of no matter to other non-participant editors). This is pretty good work, but a little simplifying is needed in my view. There are some words that should be (preferably) changed, but if not at least linked. I also see the use of a metaphor "This makes them to stand on their own feet." which doesn't really work on this wiki, because someone learning English may take this literally.
