Template:Outdent2/doc

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Threading of replies on talk pages is done using indentation and lists. This template is used for outdenting a reply on a talk page when indentation gets too deep.

Usage[change source]

To outdent type {{od2}} at the beginning of your new line of text (with no break or carriage return).

Example:

{{od2}}I agree with what you are saying. ~~~~

will yield

() I agree with what you are saying. (your signature)

Second usage[change source]

To outdent type {{od2}} at the beginning of your new line of text, but replacing the arrow with a outdent link, add any value to parameter 1 (|1=anything)

Example:

{{od2|anything}}I agree with what you are saying. ~~~~

will yield

(Outdent) I agree with what you are saying. (your signature)

This template is contained in the CSS class "outdent-template". Users who would prefer not to see the template can add the following line to their custom CSS (by default: Special:MyPage/vector.css):
