Edits on the atom article[change source]

Hello, your edits on the atom page were interesting, but they need some work. First of all, you will notice that none of the articles in Wikipedia include the pseudonyms of the editors that added them to wikipedia, instead they can be found in the history of the page ("View History" Button), and attribution is typically added in the form of references, which you will see as small numbers at the end of a claim, more information can be found at the end of an article.[1] [2]

Second, please add references so that we can judge your contributions based on the reputation of your sources, for example, your explanation about free nuclei preceding atoms because they were too fast to bond with them was convincing, but I would like for my knowledge on the subject to rely on something other than trust in a random wikipedia editor, please read a guide on how to add references so that others can delve into the source material if they feel curious about your explanation. [3]

Thirdly, considering these are your first edits, I would recommend that you start out with smaller edits, so other editors can review them and modify them if necessary, instead of reverting the whole edit. Finally, editing the Simple English wikipedia might be harder than editing the original wikipedia, so you can try starting there, Simple English has additional requirements regarding the complexity of words and sentences. [4]

Please take a look at the following section in the standard wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atom#Formation, you can see that it cites a reliable source.

Good luck.--TZubiri (talk) 22:27, 2 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

July 2021[change source]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make helpful changes to the encyclopedia. You may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to keep the encyclopedia looking neat and professional. Using different styles in the encyclopedia, as you did to "Conduction", can make it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about changing this encyclopedia. Thank you.
