Then I have the wrong name for this weird religion. A 12-year-old poet/prophet from Celtic England? 99 Deities coupled with both an impersonal life force and a twisted goddess? The LOTR as religious scripture? You may delete the page. My apologies, and please forgive me. ZenMaster9000 (talk) 22:21, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

User Page Alert[change source]

If you have read the contents in my User Page, please feel free to write an article about it. Just use the name of this entity (as long as it's not Paganism, Wicca, Druidism or the New Age). Thank you. ZenMaster9000 (talk) 23:02, 14 March 2022 (UTC)ZenMaster9000[reply]

If the pantheon of my religion is named Mannon and the religion is named Menon, then how will it be differentiated from "Mennonite" as referring to the Anabaptist movement -- which includes the Amish? ZenMaster9000 (talk) 22:36, 15 March 2022 (UTC) ZenMaster9000[reply]

RfD nomination of Danu[change source]

An editor has requested deletion of Danu, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2022/Danu and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. --*Fehufangą✉ Talk page01:32, 16 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I am terribly sorry you feel this way. Wikipedia is obviously not a blog or Fandom Wiki. Besides, that's not the point. The point is to be honest and sincere with the content when allowing inclusion. For example, if I write an article on a world religion about Zen using my description, I have to prove it is not Zen Buddhism, a division of Mahayana Buddhism which in turn is a division of Buddhism. The usage of the term "New Age" for this faith may sound appealing, but some see it as an umbrella term or broad spectrum of beliefs. Please delete Danu as the term is not related to the faith. Organized Religion[change source]

I have done some research on the Eastern religions as described in the New Age and found them to be mutually exclusive to their sources. Many in the New Age have described Buddhism to be nontheistic, meaning no central deity (or deities) while a Buddhist source mentions a belief in God. Another example is Hinduism. New Age sources instate the Hindu faith to be one solid religion of the Vedas while Hindus refer to their faith as a "loosely organized" way of life. And those in the New Age itself? Selfless devotees are called Zen (with a long "E"), not to be confused with the Buddhist concept of Zen (with a short "E"). Along with such includes "Paganism" with gods described by their mortals as symbolic of the mind and literary characters, not to be "butt-ugly" idols of the Middle East. I think we must be clear on spiritual (or religious) ways of life.ZenMaster9000 (talk) 14:31, 19 March 2022 (UTC)ZenMaster9000[reply]

By the way, there is no such thing as a "loosely organized" religion, nor is any religion "organized." Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity and the New Age are diverse in beliefs while Judaism, Islam, Taoism and the Baha'i Faith are concise (or unified).ZenMaster9000 (talk) 14:42, 19 March 2022 (UTC)ZenMaster9000[reply]
