"Vision of Love" is the first song from Mariah Carey. It was recorded in 1989, but not released until May of 1990. The song became Carey's first hit song. The song was written by Carey and Ben Margulies. In 1991 the song was nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 33rd Annual Grammy Awards. It won Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.[1]
