Simple English Wikipedia is an English edition of Wikipedia, written in simple English. It was made in 2003. On July 26, 2006, the Simple English Wikipedia had 10,000 articles. As of May 21, 2008, it has more than 28,000 articles, over 80,000 pages and over 17,000 registered users.
