South Asia

South Asia (or Southern Asia) is the south area of Asia. There are 13 countries of this region. Around it is (from west to east) Western Asia, Central Asia, Eastern Asia, and Southeastern Asia.
It includes these countries:
- Myanmar (Burma)
- Bangladesh (East Bengal)
- Tibet (China)
- Sikkim
- Bhutan
- Hindustan (Bharat)
- Maldives
- Nepal
- Khalistan (East Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh)
- Pakistan and Indian Occupied Kashmir
- Sri Lanka
The United Nations also includes Iran and Afghanistan.
