Archiving[change source]

I've noticed that WP:AN hasn't been archived in some time. I know that the bot doesn't run constantly, but the page has settings that appear to set the archive time at 21 days. It has been 29 days since any changes were made to one of the topics, and more than a month on another. Did something happen to the bot? Etamni | ✉   09:40, 2 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, the bot seems to have stopped around late-July. For now, I have initiated one round of archiving with ChenzwBot to clear the archiving backlog. Poking Barras. Chenzw  Talk  10:36, 2 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
LOL, I couldn't recall which bot did the regular archiving -- but figured you'd know. Etamni | ✉   10:45, 2 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Woops, restarting it now. I forgot to check the status. For some reason I need to make it re-logging in every months... -Barras talk 16:34, 2 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The bot is working again, thanks for the ping, Chenzw :) -Barras talk 16:55, 2 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Typo fiixing progress[change source]

I finished the first and second files on the list you told me about. The next time I work on them, I will start on the third one, unless you want to tell me different. --Auntof6 (talk) 06:41, 5 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, please go ahead! I haven't had much time lately to process the typos, and am still stuck on the last list... Chenzw  Talk  08:00, 5 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ChenzwBot[change source]

Seems like, ChenzwBot is encountering some cosmetic bugs [3] [4] Could you please fix the problem? — MBlaze Lightning 17:19, 5 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page stalker) Chenzw, I think Mblaze is referring to the seemingly broken messages left by the bot, not to anything the bot reverted. --Auntof6 (talk) 17:42, 5 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
yes! — MBlaze Lightning 17:49, 5 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for alerting me to this! I am glad the bot hasn't reverted a lot of edits yet. This problem is related to the recent migration to using bot passwords; I have fixed it now. Chenzw  Talk  02:46, 6 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

RfD nomination of Template:Pokeinfoboxsmall[change source]

An editor has requested deletion of Template:Pokeinfoboxsmall, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2016/Template:Pokeinfoboxsmall and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Auntof6 (talk) 06:15, 10 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Liederbach[change source]

Is there a direct contact to the nights of the round table with the liederbach name. I have documents of my family in house and may have used a different name for a cover on secret meetings. Let me know Thanks Marc

Mliederb (talk) 04:21, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Mliederb: Sorry, I don't know what you are talking about. Please try Talk:Knights of the Round Table or WP:ST. Chenzw  Talk  05:13, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

< nowiki > ?[change source]

Uhh... do you mind if I remove the < nowiki > tag from that education section of the article about Arkansas? --Turkeybutt JC (talk) 14:13, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand your question. The nowiki tag has already been removed (by me). Chenzw  Talk  14:19, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I see it now; looks like I missed one. Please feel free to remove it anytime you wish. Chenzw  Talk  14:24, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Is chewez-bot opensource?[change source]

Where can I submit pull requests?

What do you want to change? Chenzw  Talk  04:13, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have to express such a deep dissappointment: it was a clear-cut totally unrealiable text added by someone who uses hundreds of sockpuppets at simple.wiki also. But the worst part was this: a long-term abuser sockpuppet were left free to insult and vote, without being reported for lock. Finally such a crappy text was left untouched, with such bright howlers like " the "Black shirt" (Camicie Nere) movement" or "Map of Malta in the XVI century, when Italian was declared the official language by the Knights of Malta" to illustrate a XX century historical fact. Finally the title: it was simply fictional: just a way to escape from watching list(s). --Vituzzu (talk) 00:02, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry that the situation has come to this, but the deletion policy does not provide for deletion of such an article without having achieved consensus first. While I can't comment (and don't know a thing) about the sockpuppeting, I should note that the local community is largely unaware as well, and we need the guidance of other editors who are familiar with the situation and to point out and explain the problems. Had ForPisani's vote been struck out in the RFD, it is likely that there would still have been a consensus to keep the article. Chenzw  Talk  05:28, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, my name is Sjoerddebruin and I'm sysop on Wikidata. I'm wondering if you have more information about the above user for me, as he's doing the same stuff on our project, adding sensitive unsourced information to items. Sjoerddebruin (talk) 17:24, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have sent you an email with some information. Please let me know if there's anything else that I can help with. Chenzw  Talk  00:00, 31 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
