2022 FIFA World Cup Group E

Group E of the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be from 23 November to 1 December 2022.[1] The teams in the group are Spain, the CONCACAF–OFC winners (either Costa Rica or New Zealand), Germany and Japan. The top two teams will go to the round of 16.[2]

- The winners of Group E will play the runners-up of Group F.
- The runners-up of Group E will play the winners of Group F.

- first yellow card: minus 1 point;
- indirect red card (second yellow card): minus 3 points;
- direct red card: minus 4 points;
- yellow card and direct red card: minus 5 points;
