James Longstreet

James Longstreet was a Confederate general during the American Civil War. He was born in 1821 in South Carolina. He grew up in Georgia. Longstreet graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1842 and was a slave owner.[1] He fought in the Army of Northern Virginia. Longstreet died in 1904.
