Yuliia Oleksandrivna Bebko (Юлія Олександрівна Бебко; born 11 October 1990), also known as Julia Sanina (Юлія Саніна, is a Ukrainian singer.
Early life
[change | change source]Sanina was born on 11 October 1990 in Kyiv. She sang on the stage for the first time when she was three years old. Her singing was then accompanied by an ensemble that her father directed. Eventually she started to perform as a solo vocalist, as well as one of the members of children's groups and a jazz big band.
In 2005, she graduated from the Music School of Jazz and Variety art.[1] While Sanina was in college, she started to like journalism.[2]
Career
[change | change source]From 2006 to 2008, she was in the band Sister Siren.[3]
In September 2011, Sanina and Valeriy Bebko started a pop duo called Val & Sanina. They performed songs in Russian. They recorded an experimental music video and a few songs, one of them The love has come (Russian: Любовь настала; lyrics: Robert Rozhdestvensky, music: Raimonds Pauls).
In 2011, Sanina and Bebko let out new songs and made a music video called Babylon. [4] Later, they let out Dance with me.

In February 2012, Sanina and Val signed a contract with the label Sony BMG. Val and Sanina won many awards in Ukraine. In 2014, Sanina started to make vlogs about her life on YouTube.[5][6]
Sanina helped with the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool.[7]
In 2024, Sanina was Agatha in the video game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.[8][9]
Personal life
[change | change source]Sanina married Valeriy "Val" Bebko.[2] The couple had met in 2008 or 2009 when Sanina had interviewed Bebko, who was the producer of MTV Ukraine at the time,[4] but kept their relationship hidden until 2014.[2] Sanina and Bebko had a child Danylo. Danylo was born on 21 November 2015.[10]
