Kranji MRT station (NS7) is an above-ground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the North South Line in Sungei Kadut, Singapore.
History
[change | change source]Kranji station was not included in the North South Line Woodlands Extension when it was proposed in 1990. It was later included as a temporary station that will be built at a later stage.[1]
Kranji station was eventually built to serve the Singapore Turf Club.[2] This station also serves as a key transfer point for passengers that are going to Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
