Riverton is a city in Freemont County, Wyoming in the United States. It is the largest settlement in Freemont County.

It is called Riverton because of the four rivers that meet there. These are Wind River, Little Wind River, Popo Agie River and Little Popo Agie River.
The town was built on land from the Wind River Indian Reservation.
