Sonic Underground is a 1999 animated television series based on the video game series by Sega. It was co-produced by DIC Entertainment and Les Studios Tex in co-production with TF1.
Premise
[change | change source]Sonic, Sonia and Manic are siblings and the children of Queen Aleena, ruler of Mobius. When Dr. Robotnik takes over the throne and begins ruling the world, Aleena is forced to abandon her children to protect them. When the three orphans grow up, they become freedom fighters and work to take down Robotnik and find their long lost mother.
