Personal sandbox

hello, is there (just like the normal english wikipedia) also a personal sandbox on the simple english wikipedia? Gilliebillie (talk) 18:52, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Gilliebillie: Yes, you can create a personal sandbox. It would be subject to the same rules as the regular user page. -- Auntof6 (talk) 20:42, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Gilliebillie: By the way, I maintain a list of ways that this Wikipedia is different from regular English Wikipedia. The list is not a policy or guideline, but it links to some relevant policies and guidelines. If you have any questions about it, feel free to let me know. -- Auntof6 (talk) 20:44, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Psych

Hey why did you delete the psych page? Can you please put it back on Max the Media Fan (talk) 02:21, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Max the Media Fan: I deleted it because it had been copied from English Wikipedia without being simplified enough. If you would like it restored, please make a request at WP:Deletion review. Thanks. -- Auntof6 (talk) 12:48, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well I would like to put how the events with Yang in the musical aren’t canon because her story should have been finished in Season 5. Don’t you think Max the Media Fan (talk) 16:24, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category self QD

Hi. Do categories that are monthly based (like complex of a certain month and year) automatically self nominate for QD C1 when they are empty? Thanks - Da LambTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 21:38, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@PotsdamLamb: They do, but they don't always show up in the QD category. I think the QD isn't recognized because nothing has actually edited the category. Eventually they might appear in the category on their own, I'm not sure. -- Auntof6 (talk) 01:21, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category Question

Since you know the most, this was one in which I removed the display title. I did not move it or anything. I’m not quite sure if anything needs to be done but I consider you the expert on categories. I know this entity does more than just animation. Some of the names on the list are not in the show as just animated like Michael Jordon as animated. He’s both, as is Lebron James (both for Space Jam).

Category:Warner Bros. character redirects to lists

The default title was Category:Warner Bros. animated character redirects to lists

Please let me know if you want me to take any action on this. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 17:05, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Layout question

On an article when a HarvB or sfn is used, it will show up in the references section. I also need to put in the book it is being pulled from. On this article Bill of Rights 1689, for the moment, I put them under the references section as well. How should this be (it does not seem appealing to my eye right now based on they way they are set out. Do you think I should just covert to cite books (it's only 2 books and 3 cites to them)? Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 08:26, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@PotsdamLamb: You could put the bulleted ones in a section called "Sources" instead. I think I've seen it done that way before. -- Auntof6 (talk) 09:44, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Above or below refs? Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 09:48, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@PotsdamLamb: en:Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Layout#Notes_and_references also suggests a section called "Works cited", but that might not work here because not everything shown in the article is cited. See if you can make anything of the other content there. -- Auntof6 (talk) 09:59, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
So looks like when I run into that I need to make the notes section and reorganize what they put down as refs and put the books in the reference section. That would work for me. I don’t think it takes too much. It pretty much will keep us in line with them and simple.
Thoughts? Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 10:20, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think I got it down if you want to take a look and see. I didn't need to use lower alpha since they made them as ref only so I put that under notes and then references has the cited book and website list. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 09:20, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@PotsdamLamb: Looks fine to me. -- Auntof6 (talk) 13:53, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Geography of the State of Palestine

Hi. I am wondering why you kept this when it has nothing linked to it and all you did you was redirect it and the consensus was 2 to delete and a comment. I cannot see why it could not be deleted since there is no incoming links to it. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 12:40, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@PotsdamLamb: There was a suggestion to redirect. Redirects are cheap and don't hurt anything. -- Auntof6 (talk) 12:42, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Help

I forgot how to list a quote and ref in a discussion without the reference going to the bottom of the page (I did this at Wikipedia:Requests_for_deletion#Lumbini sal park lumbini sal park) and when you go to the main page, the reference is at the bottom. Can you remind me of the coding please? Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 13:16, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@PotsdamLamb: Sorry, I've seen it but I don't remember how to do it, either. Generally, there probably shouldn't be references on RFDs anyway. -- Auntof6 (talk) 14:28, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It was used to reference a point. I’ve seen it on here a couple of times because it is an RfD and since the discussion takes place there where else would it go? Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 14:55, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@PotsdamLamb: If not in the article, then it could be coded as an external link. But that's just my opinion. -- Auntof6 (talk) 21:38, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Depreciated title

Hi. I went through and removed DISPLAYTITLE from all article spaces. Now, everything left in Category:Pages with ignored display titles are user pages. I do not want to touch those pages, but a great majority are not active and have not been for some time. I was wondering if you wanted to take any action on those so that the cat can get cleared out and down to zero. I’ve been able to clear out a few other cats that are error based and I’m working on the lacks free doi one (takes a bit but getting there). I’ve also been working on the Harv errors as well since I studied them on my “vacation”. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 12:18, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@PotsdamLamb: Would you explain why you removed DISPLAYTITLE? As far as I know, it is still needed for some articles (and I see it's still on one where it's needed). I also see one where you removed it, Aelfric of Eynsham, where you could have renamed the page to accomplish what the DISPLAYTITLE was trying to do.
By the way, the word is "deprecated," not "depreciated".
When cleaning out this kind of category, please be thoughtful about what you're doing. Sometimes a thing that is flagged as an error doesn't mean it actually is an error or needs any action. Sometimes it needs action other than just removing the thing that's being flagged. -- Auntof6 (talk) 13:47, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It comes back as ignored (my phone autocorrects so apologies for that). If the display title is ignored then it is useless. I looked at the article you mentioned. There is no difference on the title displayed when I look at the previous version vs the version where it is removed. The only difference is prior to the removal that version shows it on the hidden category of display title ignored. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 13:53, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@PotsdamLamb: It's true that an ignored DISPLAYTITLE is useless. However, that one was trying to display the name with the correct "Æ" character. That didn't work because it didn't match the title, so it was ignored. However, if you think about what it was trying to do, that shows that the article needs to be renamed. Removing the DISPLAYTITLE without fixing that doesn't address the issue.
And I feel your pain about autocorrect. It gets even worse when I'm typing in a different language. -- Auntof6 (talk) 14:08, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
But moving the page to a name not using standard keys on a keyboard will affect the search for it, will it not? I do not know how to search for that. I would need to copy and paste it or find the alt number to type it in. It could also be a restricted character through the software as well per the template documents on en wiki. I can go through them and try a page redirect based on what was trying to be accomplished with the display title and see what happens. But with that particular article, how would one search for that with c/p or the character code? Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 14:15, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@PotsdamLamb: The same way people search for it on enwiki? You could definitely leave a redirect with the current name. -- Auntof6 (talk) 14:21, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I moved it to Ælfric of Eynsham. Left a redirect in place with the standard keys of Aelfric of Eynsham to direct to the new one. I’ll look at the others and fix them if they indeed need fixing. Some were the same page name. Thanks for the input. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 14:22, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. :) -- Auntof6 (talk) 14:30, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I’m not sure how to do this one, as I believe I need an admin. Kīlauea is redirected to Kilauea which is backwards. So I can’t move it. Looks like Kīlauea was created first then moved by this individual SEPTActaMTA8235. Once moved back, it should be fine. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 16:41, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Are you able to switch this one Kīlauea it’s backwards. That page is a redirect to the English without the dialect mark and should be reversed. Non-dialect to dialect. It will require a deletion. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 13:54, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category reporting error

Hi. So on Category:BLPs needing more sources it shows on the right 118 articles needing more sources. When you scroll down just under the 98 subcategories heading it states there are 335 pages needed sources. There are none that are marked with no date (I’ve fixed those based on history). Do you know how to figure out where that number is coming from? For some reason I tend to believe the 335 number is correct based on our articles. And I just looked again. Some articles are dated back to 2012. Should I go through and update them to see if they are current and if not refresh the tag? I would need a list (probably a search somehow of those prior to the first maintenance cat we have for this?). Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 12:36, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@PotsdamLamb: I don't know. I never trust the numbers in the sidebars on the right, and I don't know how they're derived. Enwiki's numbers don't look like they match, either, although theirs seem closer.
Possibilities:
  • It could be a cache problem.
  • The date isn't always specified. I found at least one that doesn't have one.
  • There may be more templates assigning these categories than the two listed; maybe those transclusions aren't included in the totals in the sidebar. However, I couldn't find any other templates or any modules that assign the categories.
  • Some articles may have the category hard coded, although I don't see any of these, either.
When I said I didn't find any, I only checked the main template name. I didn't look to see if there are any redirects to the templates.
And it gets weirder. According the transclusion count:
-- Auntof6 (talk) 13:29, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wow so looks like I should try to trace it down somehow. The transclusions can be a problem. I’ll dive into it over the next two weeks and see what I can find. Thanks for the info. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 13:33, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@PotsdamLamb: You might want to post this kind of thing at Simple talk. I don't really know that much about the behind-the-scenes stuff. -- Auntof6 (talk) 13:35, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It’s ok. I can figure it out. That’s what I’ve been doing behind the scenes. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 13:51, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Can you run a null edit through AWB please against the list at Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:BLP unsourced please so I can see if my theory works? Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 14:39, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@PotsdamLamb: Not right now -- that's 900 pages and I'm trying to wrap things up for today. I'll get back to you later. -- Auntof6 (talk) 14:43, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. I will chat with you later. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 14:52, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

┌─────────────────────────────────┘
I figured out why theirs contains so many compared to ours. They have all articles that have any BLP template on it (i.e. Needs verification, disputed, etc.). I randomly picked out pages from here which shows a ton of articles. So I think the closest we have (as our counter is empty and has no link bancks - maybe delete it or I can trace their populating schema) is Category:Unreferenced_BLPs. So this is only those that are tagged no sources, not any of the other BLP tags. So at this point, I think we are good, but for the link on the start up we may want to change the category to the page with all of them listed and not just the recent ones. I am going to reach out to media wiki tech about why it won't show the earlier ones in the list, as it seems limited. Thanks and sorry about the long chain we have going. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 16:48, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@PotsdamLamb: It was very useful, but the truth is I didn't use it very often. So I don't know how much I would use it. I don't often come across pages that have multiple links to dab pages, and where there's just one I use popups. -- Auntof6 (talk) 16:24, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@PotsdamLamb: Need to clarify: I meant links to multiple dab pages. When I'm taking care of links to a single dab page, I use popups, which works for any number of links to the dab page in question. Of course, popups doesn't have the ability to disambiguate the same link to different pages, which Dab solver had. -- Auntof6 (talk) 16:28, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Thanks for the information. Let me see what I can do. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 16:47, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ephebophilia incorrect introduction

Hi, the introduction to the article Ephebophilia, the part that cannot be edited in any way by common users, indicates it as a "paraphilia characterized by sexual attraction to adolescents aged from 15-18". Ephebophilia is not classified as a paraphilia but more of a sexual preference, one of chronophilic kind. Plus, the given range is 15-19, not 15-18. Could you correct it please? Thank you. 151.44.70.104 (talk) 13:21, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@PotsdamLamb: This warning you left for the IP we're discussing. -- Auntof6 (talk) 01:32, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I did that due to the time and the difference in what they were doing. A lot of users have warnings, but the template says only, and I felt that the 50 or so pages they were creating before I could get an admin/sysop to block them were worth it instead of using the final warning. The idea was to tell them they will be blocked, whereas the other templates at 1, 2, and 3 say they may be blocked. We only have two options, and going in order would have defeated my purpose of trying to get them to stop. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 01:38, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The couple of articles that directed there then to the same but with a lower case law have been changed to go directly to the correct template. That is why I marked this one for QD as it is no longer needed. It’s an empty redirect. I guess the valid reason is housekeeping? Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 18:32, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@PotsdamLamb: I wouldn't call that housekeeping. As annoying as it might be, I think this one has to go to RFD. But I don't think it would hurt to keep it -- redirects are cheap, and we might not be using it now but someone might link to it in the future. -- Auntof6 (talk) 18:34, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It’s actually a T2. I set it again as such. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 18:37, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry

Apologies for that. I must have missed that one when I was doing the cleanup. I will go back through them and fix any I missed so you do not have too. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 02:42, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@PotsdamLamb: I just did the three that showed up as uncategorized. The "needing to be simplified" ones are a little tricky because you have to specify extra parameters. I usually just copy/paste from an existing one and change as needed. -- Auntof6 (talk) 02:43, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh ok. Thank you for that. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 02:44, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The spelling of division is not correct. Are you sure it should be a redirect? MathXplore (talk) 08:33, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Can you correct the spelling with suppress-redirect? Thank you for your attention. MathXplore (talk) 02:29, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@MathXplore: I see that the template has been deleted. -- Auntof6 (talk) 21:50, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Mesereaulaw kept removing the deletion request on the Hennessy Carolina until they were blocked. Now Brooklynqueen03 keeps removing the deletion request despite warning the user so may times. Is there anyway it could be protected? Shoot for the Stars (talk) 02:34, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Shoot for the Stars: I see that it has been protected. -- Auntof6 (talk) 21:50, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Red link cats

Do we have a special page (similar to wanted pages or templates) that shows red linked categories? So there are only 2 pages in a cat and so it hasn’t been published yet since it needs 3 pages or more? Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 09:35, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@PotsdamLamb: Special:WantedCategories.
Just keep in mind that, as with all the "wanted" special pages, it just means that it has been used somewhere without being created. It doesn't necessarily mean that it should be created here. A lot of those appear on the list because people have copied from enwiki; it's possible that it's either a category we don't use here on purpose, or that it should have a different name here, or that there's some other reason for not creating it. Just give it some thought before creating. -- Auntof6 (talk) 21:20, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the information and link. I asked because I see an IP editor who has been making a ton of new categories over the past couple of days and as soon as it hits 3 they activate the category. I didn’t know if we had one but if I see one previously deleted that got re-created I’ll understand why and ask you questions since that is your niche. Roy Van der Veen

This article was created by an account who put it on different wikis of which all deleted them (including here) for it being in another language and being non-notable. The picture they used was also deleted from commons due to copyright. There is no discussion to be had. User was notified of the QD of the article, removed the QD, posted it to the board and then I restored the QD tag and warned them and they acknowledged they cannot delete the QD (by thanking me for warning.) They put the request up on the board as soon as the QD tag was put on without putting wait on it. It was deleted quite a bit later and they made no attempt to fix the article, instead they went on other wikis and tried to save it which was unsuccessful. Also their username is basically this persons name backwards. That is why I moved it. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 03:20, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

New Article Maor Ashkenazi

Good morning, could I simplify and make spelling improvements to the article Maor Ashkenazi, Israeli rapper. Please --Acartonadooopo (talk) 04:53, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page stalker) :@Acartonadooopo You need to stop canvassing and asking every person on this Wikipedia. You were already told yes. There is no need to ask 10 different people for permission. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 04:56, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@PotsdamLamb I don't explain myself well, I'm asking the users to help me polish it better and improve it grammatically since I don't know how to do it because of my language, I don't speak perfect English. --Acartonadooopo (talk) 05:00, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Acartonadooopo It is still canvassing. You have people helping you already and this editor is an admin and won’t write the article for you but will give you the same advice we have. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 05:06, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@PotsdamLamb: I don't think this is canvassing. Canvassing is (to quote enwiki): "notification done with the intention of influencing the outcome of a discussion in a particular way." There's no discussion going on here. -- Auntof6 (talk) 07:58, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Canvassing has multiple meanings (not even using the policy definition). If I felt it was that, I would not post it on a talk page except of the user performing it. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 05:41, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@PotsdamLamb: It has other meanings in general English, but the only meaning that's problematic is the one in the policy. This doesn't seem to fit that. -- Auntof6 (talk) 05:57, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Acartonadooopo: Yes, you could do that. However, writing the kind of simple language that is required here can be difficult even for people whose English is good. It's probably best to create the article in your userspace instead of making it a regular article. Then you can get people to help you, and move it to a regular article when it is in good condition. -- Auntof6 (talk) 05:12, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
My article is very good, it has reliable and independent sources, it has a heading, it has a good academic and linguistic structure. Furthermore, the deletion request was rejected by the proponent because it is still valid. Furthermore, my article is better than other articles that were created as a sketch, without references, such as Boaz Ma'uda. --Acartonadooopo (talk) 13:28, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Acartonadooopo: That may be true, but it needs to be simplified. There are some complex words and complex sentence structure. An article can be well-written, complete, and have enough references, but here it also needs to be in simple language. You might like to read Wikipedia:How to write Simple English pages and some of the pages listed there under "Related pages" to get a better idea of what is needed. -- Auntof6 (talk) 14:25, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hat note

On Havana, is it ok to leave red linked hat notes for disamb like the one on this article? I copied it over as part of the infobox from en wiki. I want to say yes, but I wanted your position on it. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 18:33, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@PotsdamLamb: I wouldn't include it. It's not part of the infobox, after all. Neither is the "user mdy dates" template. -- Auntof6 (talk) 19:18, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Auntof6 The MDY is not an issue. Many articles have it, so those editing are aware it's an American-based article and use the right date format, which also allows bot's to correctly format it. For the other one, I will remove it. Remember, we here in America are odd compared to the rest of the world in our date format. :) Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 19:20, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The template I asked about

If you remember, I asked you about the template that allows you to use references in discussions and keeps them with the particular portion they apply to. The template is {{reflist-talk}}. Now we both know and can grow. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 20:21, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The counts are mostly correct

In our monthly clean up boxes, the counts are much higher now. Shows almost 300 articles undated and contains close to 3k articles. That is a tad short of 3200ish articles needing sources in some form. Thanks and edit well! - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 16:20, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Cuba

Hi there and hope all is well. I had a question about a stub. For this article (Las Villas) I stubbed it as general geo. Would that be correct as I do not believe it would fit any other stubs we have and Cuba obviously is not a stub. Thanks and I look forward to your feedback. Thanks and edit well! - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 07:50, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@PotsdamLamb: You could add North America to it. Some people think that should be under geography stubs anyway, but some don't because there's more to North America than geography. Same is true for other stub types related to places.
Also, you could add general categories to the page. If you don't want to do that, you could tag it as uncategorized. -- Auntof6 (talk) 08:35, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
But is it really part of North America or is it only because of our prison (which I thought was getting shut down). Thanks and edit well! - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 08:39, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@PotsdamLamb: Yes. Cuba is considered part of North America. The fact that the US has a base there isn't the reason; if it were, a lot of other places around the work would be part of North America, too, like Germany, Guam, etc. -- Auntof6 (talk) 08:45, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh ok. I will flip it and I did cat it. Thanks and edit well! - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 08:47, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not working

This happened before and I cannot remember how to fix it; Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2024/New bharat Thanks and edit well! - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 08:42, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Auntof6 Can you delete Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2024/New bharat for me please so I can run the RfD again Thanks and edit well! - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 08:51, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
 Done Yes, I was about to suggest that. -- Auntof6 (talk) 08:52, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Still did not work. Can you delete it again and I will clear the page then can you nominate on my behalf please? Thanks and edit well! - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 08:53, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
My wording - It may meet notability, but it seems written from a POV. There is no Wikidata entry. I cannot find it mentioned on enwp either. I did a [[WP:BEFORE] search and found nothing, so I am sending it here for thoughts. Thanks and edit well! - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 08:55, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Resolved.

Disambiguation Links

Hi. So one of the things I am working on is getting that page back up and running for you now that I have spent a few days reading it. Hopefully it will be done over the next couple of days and you will have access to it again. I will let you know when I am done with it. Thanks, and be well! - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 10:37, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Or I do not have to do anything! Check this out DPLbot. Thanks, and be well! - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 10:42, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Thank you for taking the time to get the RfDs taken care of. I was questioning some of the formatting. If I see an editor posted something outside of the discussion area like above the nomination but below the header am I allowed to move it to the correct place but not change their words (but can add a time stamp if they didn’t sign?) Thanks, and be well! - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 23:52, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@PotsdamLamb: I'd say "you're welcome," but I always feel funny getting thanked for doing my job!
Yes, I think it would be OK to do formatting if you don't change any words or context. And it's always OK to add the unsigned template -- just please be sure to 1) substitute the template and 2) use the template parameters that add both the user name (or IP) and the date/time. Thanks. -- Auntof6 (talk) 23:56, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Yeah I always remember that part because I have to look the template up to get it correct like where UTC goes and formatting. Thanks, and be well! - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 23:57, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
