September 2022[change source]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for undoing your recent test with the page "Template:Religions". Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about changing our encyclopedia. In the future, please do not make tests on article pages; instead, use the sandbox. Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 13:44, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Apology[change source]

Please forgive me for the switch between Wicca and Gnosticism on the Religions Template. I was going by a hunch, a gut feeling, a stroke of intuition. Brainiac 9999 (talk) 13:47, 25 September 2022 (UTC)Brainiac 9999[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm MathXplore. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Wicca, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see Wikipedia:Citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 13:56, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I am so terribly sorry for this. I forgot the source and given the internet's mix-up with fact and fiction, it'll be like finding a needle in a haystack. Ironically, I memorized the book's content. The problem is this source is a children's book on Wicca, and the reliable sources you mentioned are adult in nature. Besides, the page is slightly difficult to understand, especially for ESL readers. Brainiac 9999 (talk) 15:02, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why are you listing Wicca as an Abrahamic religion? And why are you listing New Age as part of Wicca? Both on en.wikipedia and simple.wikipedia. Those don't seem accurate to me. Lights and freedom (talk) 23:34, 30 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

To prove how stupid and lazy you guys are! New readers will have the wrong message about your topics. If I were you, I will abandon Wikipedia and have the founder shut it down! Wikipedia is not a reliable resource. It's not even an encyclopedia! It's a loosely-organized collection of essays anonymously written and edited by various folks so as to have the website make money. You do not need to give! Yes, you can look the other way, but this scam is a problem and we are still falling sucker for it. As for me, I'm out of here! Brainiac 9999 (talk) 21:38, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I humbly apologize for the tongue-lashing. I just want our readers to think when reading the articles on the Simple English and English Wikipedia. I'll try to designate Wicca as a European faith.Brainiac 9999 (talk) 11:09, 2 October 2022 (UTC) Brainiac 9999[reply]

October 2022[change source]

Welcome to Wikipedia. You might not have done it on purpose, but your recent change removed helpful information from Wikipedia. We ask that you do not remove things from pages, as you did to "List of religions", without giving a good reason in the change summary. If it was a mistake, do not worry. The part of the article you removed has been put back. If you want to try things out, please use the sandbox. If you would like to learn how to help Wikipedia, please see the welcome page. Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 11:13, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies. Wikipedia must have a renewal policy if some reader wishes to read something accurate. Violators of this policy will be blocked indefinitely. In short, just keep this as a suggestion. Thank you Brainiac 9999 (talk) 11:17, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

RfD nomination of Zelda (Religion)[change source]

An editor has requested deletion of Zelda (Religion), an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2022/Zelda (Religion) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. --Ferien (talk) 19:46, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Someone deleted the entire article. Maybe we should try more primary sources such as a book, periodical, vocal recording, etc., in order to provide the information in the past and relate the history to the present. We may not need to describe future phrenalia. Brainiac 9999 (talk) 22:20, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, please add this to Wikipedia: "Articles of all subjects must be placed in past tense so as to respect history. I'm afraid this "Zeldism" is recently discovered, so I will ask the author to remove this since it is written in present tense. Thank you. Brainiac 9999 (talk) 22:23, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
