Must've signed it with the three-tilde signature, my bad. — *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 10:16, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It's alright, not a massive problem and can be easily solved --Ferien (talk) 10:16, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Translation

Hello Ferien! Goggle Translate has approved Meitei language (Manipuri language) yesterday! In your desktop/laptop screen, are the scripts still in boxes? And please visit any Meitei language website and please see if the translation is ok at your region! A few hours back, USA & Canada people told me they are ok, but in India, it was not ok. But it's almost ok right now! I want to know about UK! :-) --Haoreima (talk) 10:59, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Haoreima, I've checked Google Translate and Manipuri/Meitei isn't an option for me yet, and the scripts are still boxes on mni.wikipedia.org. --Ferien (talk) 17:52, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) Is there any way to download the unicode for this? I am unfortunately just seeing numerous boxes on mni.wikipedia.org because apparently my computer does not support it. MrMeAndMrMeLet's talk 01:33, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Ferien and MrMeAndMrMe: I have asked a question to Google Translate team for the irregularities among the countries across the world regarding the accessibility to the tool for translating Meitei language, despite the language was announced to be added on 11th May, 2022 (2 days ago). The GT team replied that it will take around 1 week for global rollout (to make all the countries accessible to the translation tool for the newly added 24 languages). Yesterday,User:SHB2000 (from Australia) had some problems with the translation tool for his country. But he said he could access by using other countries' ip. For myself (I am in India), late yesterday night, the tool was ok. I have also updated the information on the article Google Translate. --Haoreima (talk) 03:43, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Idk if you guys use Google Translate app or web. For me, I use https://translate.google.co.in/ . At this, it's ok for me. Now, this tool will help me a lot in creating Wikipedia articles. 😃 --Haoreima (talk) 03:45, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) @Haoreima Apparently it's already available here in Indonesia, that's nice to know. @MrMeAndMrMe I recommend Unifont, it's a great fallback font for... almost every script! Though it is monospace and pixels, it does the job at displaying characters that are not compatible with most fonts. — *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 03:47, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
*Fehufangą Thank you for your information! --Haoreima (talk) 03:55, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Fehufanga. MrMeAndMrMeLet's talk 03:56, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
MrMeAndMrMe I think this English wiki page en:Wikipedia:Meitei script display help will help you! --Haoreima (talk) 03:57, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Haoreima Manipuri has finally appeared on my Australian IP, along with the many other languages like Assamese :-). SHB2000 (talk) 11:52, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
SHB2000 Thanks SHB2000! for the update! :-) --Haoreima (talk) 11:57, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Ferien and SHB2000: Hey guys! I found this short video, thanks to Sister Sakura emad. She found out the problem behind not seeing Meitei script in some people's computers! :-) --Haoreima (talk) 14:08, 16 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

page move on Amber name articles

Was there a reason by which "Amber (given name)" was retitled "Amber (name)"? Can you please clarify the reason for this move? Angela Kate Maureen Pears 23:12, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Tropical Storm Angela, yes, Amber isn't used as a surname so there is no need to have "given" as part of the disambiguation because there is only one name, the given name. --Ferien (talk) 05:43, 18 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Question

At the risk of showing my ignorance, how do you identify an open proxy? --Auntof6 (talk) 19:20, 18 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Auntof6, the way I usually check is to use the proxy API checker. The link to check a specific IP is at the bottom of an IP's contributions page under "Proxy Checker". Open proxies are also blocked a lot on enwiki, so it is worth checking enwiki contributions to see whether that IP was blocked as an open proxy IP. If a range is blocked on enwiki, I check the IP on Proxy Checker, just to make sure it is an open proxy and then block the range here as well, but roughly until the end of the block on enwiki so I know I'm definitely not blocking for longer than necessary. Most of the time, though, these open proxies are blocked by stewards so most of the time, when you check an IP, it usually won't be a proxy. --Ferien (talk) 19:33, 18 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. -- Auntof6 (talk) 19:35, 18 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

User:Dolon Provas

Hello friend, I would like to speak with you about this editor. Well this editor (belongs to my nation as per his edit style) is copying article from enwiki to this wiki especially those of having very low profile (for eg:- a local parliamentarian, local college or such article which does not have high profile). And when he copied a article (violating A3), I gave a QfD but he replied me like this,

Thank you so muck Jauna Murmu. Show this article Sir. Please aproved this article because main wikipedia is already aproved. Sir. Dolon Provas

Doesn't have any sense. I didn't understand this message. And now he added a wait tag without any reason. Please if you review his changes, and see is he fit to do changes in here or not and also please inform me ok. Best wishes, TTP1233 (--Jyoti Roy (talk) 05:19, 29 May 2022 (UTC))[reply]

Its ok, buddy. @Macdonald-ross: and @Operator873: have already taken actions against him.--Jyoti Roy (talk) 05:50, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
